Mrs Brown's Boys star Danny O'Carroll stunned fans earlier this year when he unveiled his impressive weight loss.

The TV star took to Twitter to share before and after snaps, revealing that he lost over a stone in less than 40 days.

As it stands, Danny currently weighs 12.9 stone, having weighed just over 14 stone when he started his fitness regime three months ago.

The Dubliner claims he is no expert when it comes to health and fitness, but by making a few simple changes to his diet and adopting an exercise routine, he has noticed a difference in his weight.

Revealing his method for shedding the pounds, Danny told RSVP Live: “I don’t know a lot about dieting and exercise, I’m just doing everything off the cuff.

“I don’t have a personal trainer or I’m not running around for advice or stuff.

“I got the MyFitnessPal app and I’ve started logging my calories every day. I also train every day. I have a FitBit and I make sure to get my 10,000 steps before I hit the treadmill and run 5-8 kilometres, and then do a dumbbell workout for as long as I feel like."
