The actor, who plays Dermot Brown on the show, said that he really misses the rest of the cast and he can't wait to be back on set with them again
Mrs. Brown's Boys star Paddy Houlihan has said that the shows' Christmas special is going ahead as planned this year.
The festive instalment of the Dublin based sitcom has become a staple for TV fans every December with hundreds of thousands regularly tuning in to see what happens with Agnes Browne and her family.
Normally the programme airs on Christmas night followed by a second show on New Years Eve.
Production on some projects have been halted across RTÉ and BBC but creator and writer Brendan O'Carroll and his team are keen to make their show happen.
Paddy, who plays Dermot Brown, told RSVP Live: "As far as I know the show is going ahead as planned.
"But I thought we were going to be back on stage in June so maybe I am not the best person to be giving out the information.
"I am hopeful that we will be filming it because I miss Mrs. Brown’s Boys and I miss all the gang."
Paddy explained that there may be some changes to production due to social distancing restrictions but fans can still expect the same great show.

He added: "It will be a different experience filming it in studio but I think the end result should be the same. Fingers crossed.
"If we don’t get to see each other soon we will go mental. It has been too long now."
Paddy said that it is hard being away from his close pals on set, especially Danny O'Carroll, who plays his sidekick Buster Brady.
He said: "Danny and I touch base every now and again. He is up in Donegal and he is flat out. His lads are a good bit older than my girls so he is doing completely different things to me.
"While I am at home playing with Barbie’s, he is off quad biking, fishing or doing something far more exciting.
"He is in good form and he is keeping himself busy. We have been back and forth with different ideas over the phone but I am dying to see him in person."
Last year's festive special saw Kevin Kennedy, best known for playing Curly Watts on Coronation Street, visit Mrs. Brown in true A Christmas Carol style.
