Mrs Brown's Boys star Brendan O'Carroll has vowed never to retire and revealed that he would rather be carried dead off one of his shows than give up his career.
The 69-year-old said nothing gives him greater satisfaction in life than making people laugh and he is loving every second of his success.
He stated: "Agnes Brown has been very good to me and the family. She has given us all jobs, houses and a wonderful life.
"I intend to keep going until the last breath in my body.
"My health, thank God, is very good at the moment and I am in good shape.
"We were originally contracted with the BBC to do 18 episodes of Mrs Brown's Boys and here we are over a decade later with 49 shows.
"I have absolutely no plans to retire and we will keep making the show especially for Christmas and the New Year so long as the networks and the public want it."
The Finglas man who lives in Florida most of the year is now starting to crack America.
Mrs Brown's Boys has suddenly taken off on Britbox in the United States.
He now plans to do a series of live shows for Irish audiences in New York, Boston and Chicago at a future date.
He would also like to do a Hollywood movie with his friend, American comic Tyler Perry, and they have been collaborating together on a project.
Brendan added: "If I am going to kick the bucket, I would like to die on stage because that's who I am."
The star will be touring Ireland for the first time in a decade with the Mrs Brown's Boys live show next November and December and tickets are now on sale.
