While Danny always spends Christmas Day at home in Donegal, this year he will make sure to spend time with his dad, comedian Brendan O’Carroll, and other family members over the holidays.
“I usually see Dad on Christmas Eve,” he said.
“He will be part of Joe Duffy [live radio broadcast] on Grafton Street in Dublin and then we’ll do a bit of last minute shopping, there is always a great buzz around the city.
“After that, it’s time to head home in time for Santa coming. It always gets us all in the Christmas mood.”
Danny always enjoys his annual Christmas traditions, but this year has decided to try something new - and isn’t sure how it all pan out.
He told us: “I’ve taken on the challenge of cooking Christmas dinner this year. I’m absolutely sh***ing myself!
“I can cook for sure, but when it comes to Christmas dinner it’s the last dinner you want to mess up, so there’s a lot of pressure.”
Here’s hoping it all goes to plan!
