Mrs. Brown's Boys star Fiona O'Carroll couldn't help but sharing her pride over her four sons today.

She shared a gorgeous family picture as the lads all went back to school following the summer holiday break.

The actress and singer posed alongside 14-year-old Felix, Eli, aged 12, Isaac, who is 8, and Dexter, 6, outside their home.

Her older sons are in secondary school, while the younger ones are in primary school.

Fiona commented that there were "growing up too fast" as they huddled around her in the touching snap.

She added: "First day all back to school."

Fiona shares her children with her ex-husband Martin Delany, who now lives in Portugal.

She told RSVP Live recently: "I am also blessed to have an ex-husband who I get on very well with and we co-parent very well together too. We always put the kids first.

"When my role in Coppers The Musical came up I needed to work out how I was going to manage that with the kids.

"He said he would take them for two weeks during the rehearsal week and the first week of the show. They come back to Ireland tomorrow and they will be in the audience on Thursday night and I am so excited."

It has been a busy summer work wise for Fiona. She was on tour across the UK with Mrs. Brown's Boys for the month of July before returning to Ireland to perform in Copper Face Jacks: The Musical in Limerick, Dublin and Cork.

Fiona, who is the daughter of Mrs. Brown's Boys creator and star Brendan O'Carroll, also went to Cork to film the latest series of Celebrity Hell Week.

She was announced as one of the cast last week and she signed up alongside Ireland AM's Paul Ryder, Fair City's Johnny Ward, social media star Tadhg Fleming, Cork GAA hero Eoin Cadogan, RTÉ's Bláthnaid Treacy and former Miss Ireland Pamela Uba, as well as a host of other well-known names.
