Mrs Brown's Boys announce major show changes

The successful hit show is heading on tour over the summer and fans are raring to see it - but unfortunately there has been a major change that are a shame for many

A big change to the new Mrs Brown's Boys show is set to disappoint fans.

The show is headed on tour from next week where it will play venues such as Dublin's 3 Arena, Belfast's SSE Arena and the London Apollo.

The hugely successful show will run across June and July, before a final few shows in Dublin in November.

However, fans have said it's a "shame" as a new rule is coming into place ahead of the tour.

Taking to social media, the Mrs Brown's Boys account wrote: "Any fans that have been to our shows know how much we enjoy the after show signings. But unfortunately on this tour, for the sake of the safety of our audience and the cast, We will miss it but look forward to better times. Enjoy the show but please stay safe and healthy."

This major change has disappointed fans.

"Ah that’s a shame. I was kinda hoping to meet you after the show. But yes, to better times ahead," wrote one fan.

"That’s a shame I was hoping to get a selfie lol," wrote another.

Another wrote: "Cannot wait see you lot on 24th! Such a shame about signings though!"

The tour comes as rumours have been swirling about a new series of Mrs Brown's Boys coming soon.

However, cast members have set that things have yet to be confirmed.

Eilis O'Carroll told Ireland AM in April: "There's mumblings of another four episodes of Mrs Brown's Boys itself but it hasn't been confirmed yet.

"Again if it happens I'll get very excited about it and if it doesn't happen I won't be upset."
