The TV favourite is looking forward to a chilled out Christmas with his wife Amanda and their two sons Jamie and Blake, and watching the Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas special of course
"In the evening time we’ll get up and go to my mother-in-laws and have a laugh. We always watch the Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas special there together."
This year, Mrs Brown's Boys will once again air two specials over the holidays.
The cast and crew were delighted to reunite after lockdowns kept them apart over the course of the pandemic, however tragedy hit when their props master Dennis Knotts passed away from Covid earlier this year.
To honour Mr Knotts hard work over the years, the festive episodes will be dedicated to him.
The whole Christmas special is dedicated to Dennis," Danny told us.
"We were recording the first Christmas special a few weeks ago when we heard the news that he passed.
"It was a touch and go situation with Covid, he was doing okay one minute and then he was bad, then okay again and then he lost his life.
"He worked every single show with us, so yes, absolutely, the whole Christmas special is dedicated to him."
The Christmas and New Year's Mrs Brown's Boys specials have become a TV tradition, not to mention a total ratings winner, over the past few years.
The comedy recently celebrated their tenth anniversary on air, with Danny admitting: "Nobody is more shocked than us.
"I don’t want it to end, so as long as the BBC want it and it keeps going we’re happy to do it."
