Paddy Houlihan is best known for being part of the family on Mrs Brown's Boys.

The Dubliner plays the role of Agnes' son Dermot Brown, who is always getting up to all sorts of trouble with his best pal Buster.

Off screen and away from the Finglas-based BBC sitcom, Paddy is a loving family man.

The TV star is not only a proud husband, but a doting dad too.

Paddy's wife is Emily Regan - the pair met in 2007 and got married in 2013.

Two years after their wedding, Paddy and Emily became parents to twin girls Bonnie and Darcey.

The couple first met on the set of Mrs Brown's Boys while Fiona O’Carroll, who plays Maria, was pregnant with her first child and Emily covered for her while she was on maternity leave.

After being egged on to get together from the cast and crew, the pair hit it off and have enjoyed a blossoming romance ever since.

Paddy previously told RSVP Magazine: We hit it off straight away. She was the first person to slag me just as much as I could slag them, she was well able to give it back to me just as much as I could give it to her.

"She peaked my interest on set and I have been taking abuse from her ever since."

He said: "Then the two girls came along in 2015, so it has been non-stop since we got married."
