Mrs. Brown's Boys' Danny O'Carroll poses with two sons and wife Amanda as he enjoys birthday at home

The Dublin native, who plays the role of Buster Brady, is not the only member of the O'Carroll family to have celebrated their birthday at home in recent weeks

Soon after, the actor was inundated with well wishes from fans as well as some famous faces online.

Coronation Street favourite Kym Marsh said: "Happy birthday x"

Michael Jamieson went on to say: "Happy Birthday pal. Fam looking great."

Take me Out host Paddy McGuinness added: "Have a belter pal."

Rugby referee Nigel Owens simply said: "Happy birthday."

While Senator Joan Freeman continued: "Happy birthday Danny - you are right you have the most precious birthday gift."

Danny is not the only member of the O'Carroll family to have celebrated their birthday in recent weeks.

His sister Fiona, who plays Maria on the show, turned 40 last month.

Posting pictures from the party at home, Fiona said: "Thank you everyone for all your lovely birthday messages."

She added: "I had a lovely day with my boys. 40 ain't so bad."

Danny's son Jamie and Blake are following in his footsteps into the world of showbiz and Mrs. Brown's Boys and he said that it has all happened quite naturally.

He told RSVP Magazine: "Jamie will be 14 in July and he was five when he did his first show.

"I remember collecting him from the airport and he said that he didn’t want to do it anymore, he was too nervous. I said that it was no problem and he didn’t have to do anything.

"I brought him into rehearsals the following day, his grandad had a little chat with him and he agreed to do it. From there, he was hooked and everyone wanted him to stay in the cast. He was so good, I don’t know where he gets it from [jokes]!"
