Mrs Brown's Boys star Jennifer Gibney wows in gorgeous silver dress at the Nation Television Awards

Mrs Brown's Boys star Jennifer Gibney turned on the glamour as she stepped out on the red carpet on Tuesday night.

We're used to seeing the Dublin star dressed in comfy, casual clothing when she's playing Cathy Brown on Mrs Brown's Boys - however, Jennifer looked worlds away from her comedy character attending the National Television Awards in the UK.

The actress opted to wear a gorgeous silver gown with sequin details to the star-studded event as she posed for the camera alongside her co-star and husband Brendan O'Carroll - a far cry from Cathy's usual attire and she looked fabulous!

It was a successful night for the hit BBC and RTE show, as it scooped up the NTA gong for Best Comedy.

The hilarious show beat stiff competition from After Life, Derry Girls, Fleabag and Sex Education to come out on top.

If you can't get enough of Agnes Brown and co, you'll be pleased to know that All Round To Mrs. Brown's has been renewed for a fourth series.

The chat show will be on our screens once more in the spring, with plenty of laughs, celebrity guests, and of course - The Cathy Brown Show.

Jennifer told RSVP Live: "We can't rehearse for All Round because I don't know what the guests are going to say and I don't know what Mrs. Brown is going to say."

While creator Brendan added: "We have great fun doing it and it's completely different to Mrs. Brown's Boys because there is no script reading, blocking for cameras, sound and rehearsals."
