Mrs Brown's Boys star Brendan O'Carroll says he didn't have s*x until he was 22

When asked what advice he would give his younger self, the funnyman told the Daily Star he'd till him to dress better and advice him to wait a little longer before getting married

Comic Brendan O’Carroll was a virgin until he was 22 due to his awful dress sense.

The Mrs Brown’s Boys star said: “What advice would I give the young Brendan about his love life?

“Haha! What love life? I was a virgin on my wedding day.

“The only advice I would give him regarding the opposite sex would be to tell him: ‘For f**** sake dress better’.”

“I would also tell him to wait a little longer before getting married.

“I got married too young (in 1977) but that was the way it was. Everybody on the team was getting married and then it was my turn.”

The funnyman is from a big family and says it is one of the most important things in his life.

He added: “I could not wait to be a father. There was little to learn from my father as he passed before I was old enough to understand.

“However, my mother filled both roles admirably. I also have four wonderful brothers to learn from.”
