Fans of Mrs. Brown's Boys are in for massive treat in 2020 as All Round to Mrs. Brown's as been officially renewed for a third series.

The popular BBC and RTE show will hit screens once again in the spring with more comedy, celebrity guests and of course- The Cathy Brown Show.

Creator Brendan O'Carroll joked to RSVP Live: "I don’t know why, but they are bringing it back.

"We have great fun doing it and it completely different to Mrs. Brown’s Boys because there is no script reading, blocking for cameras, sound and rehearsals."

His wife Jenny then added to say: "We can’t rehearse for All Round because I don’t know what the guest are going to say and I don’t know what Mrs. Brown is going to say."

Last week, it was announced that two special Christmas episodes of Mrs Brown’s Boys will air over the festive season this year.

A total of 4.7 million viewers watched the Irish sitcom on BBC One last year and they are pulling out all the stops this time around.

Talking about the storyline, Brendan told us: "The Christmas Day one is called ‘It’s a Wonderful Mammy’ and Agnes is in Foley’s after having a row with Winnie, Cathy and her daughter in law and she is fed with them all."

The show creator added: "She says to herself ‘Do you ever wish you weren’t here’ and an angel appears beside her in the form of Kevin Kennedy and he helps her with that and shows her what life would be like if she wasn’t there.

"If you have seem ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’, you will know that everybody’s life is devastated well everyone’s life is bloody fantastic without her."
