Christmas Day is now less than a month away and there’s nothing better than putting your feet up with the remote after you have eaten your body weight in Turkey and mince pies.



If you are wondering what you can watch while you recover from your food coma while dipping into those After Eights, then look no further as the BBC has revealed what we can look forward to watching at Christmas – and it has definitely got us feeling all festive.

 Ranging from the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special to Mrs Brown’s Boys and Call The Midwife – there will be something to keep the entire family entertained.

 And not forgetting the soap fans, there will be an explosive episode of EastEnders to look forward to as Sharon Mitchell and Keanu Taylor’s baby secret comes to light. 

BBC content director Charlotte Moore told the Daily Mirror: ‘The BBC has assembled a sensational range of programmes to give viewers a festive season filled with Christmas crackers.

 ‘We are bringing back some classic favourites with the likes of Gavin And Stacey, Miranda, Scrooge and Dracula as well as introducing original new shows too.

 ‘whether you’re a fan of drama, comedy, entertainment or simply want to wallow in the beauty of the natural world, there really is no better place to be than watching the BBC this Christmas.’
